This client is in the business of manufacturing. The company manufactures poly bags, twine , rubber roll and plastic bags of various type and sizes, for industrial and commercial use. This requires a lot of energy. To offset cost and reduce its carbon footprint, the company made the choice to go renewable.

After offering one of our free energy audits, we found the business utilizes majority of its total energy consumption during daylight hours. Green Power Solutions Inc. recommended a grid-tie solar system. The aim was to make use of a battery-less solar power system and maximize self consumption.

Due to our Sunpower panels, this system is expected to last in excess of 25 years. During this time, the system will offset: 276,000L of fuel saved, 833 tonnes CO2 emissions avoided, and 7975 kg NOx/SOx emissions avoided. This is equivalent to 4,362 trees planted.
