Green Power Solutions Inc. achieved a significant milestone with the completion of a 531.2 kWp Grid Tie Solar System on a rice mill located in Black Bush, Berbice. This monumental system, designed to enhance sustainability and efficiency, boasts 1280 top-of-the-line SunPower solar panels and 10 SMA Tripower Core1 (STP 50-40) inverters. Spearheaded by Green Power Solutions Inc. (GPSI.), the project encompassed meticulous planning, precise installation, and comprehensive commissioning to ensure optimal performance.

Given the industrial setting of the rice mill, GPSI and the client has recognized the importance of proactive maintenance. Therefore, GPSI was given the opportunity to undertake regular panel maintenance to address any accumulation of ash and dust particles, which could potentially hinder the system's performance. This proactive approach underscores GPSI's commitment to maximizing the system's efficiency and longevity.

This solar installation not only reduces the mill's reliance on traditional energy sources but also significantly lowers its carbon footprint, contributing to environmental sustainability. Furthermore, by harnessing solar energy, the rice mill can achieve substantial cost savings on electricity bills over time.
